Oh look: Women Can’t Hack it in the Marines

More than half of female Marines in boot camp can’t do three pullups, the minimum standard that was supposed to take effect with the new year, prompting the Marine Corps to delay the requirement, part of the process of equalizing physical standards to integrate women into combat jobs.

The delay rekindled sharp debate in the military on the question of whether women have the physical strength for some military jobs, as service branches move toward opening thousands of combat roles to them in 2016.

Starting with the new year, all female Marines were supposed to be able to do at least three pullups on their annual physical fitness test and eight for a perfect score. The requirement was tested in 2013 on female recruits at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C., but only 45 percent of women met the minimum, Krebs said.

The Marines had hoped to institute the pullups on the belief that pullups require the muscular strength necessary to perform common military tasks such as scaling a wall, climbing up a rope or lifting and carrying heavy munitions.

Officials felt there wasn’t a medical risk to putting the new standard into effect as planned across the service, but that the risk of losing recruits and hurting retention of women already in the service was unacceptably high, she said.

Click on the link to read the full article, but the feminization(and thus the weakening) of America marches on. Women don’t have the upper body strength to be Marines……so the solution is to lower the standards until women can pass the tests.

Which means then that our Marine Corps will be full of soldiers that actually aren’t physically capable of doing the tasks that a Marine Corps position would require them to do.

I wonder which faction of our enemies are laughing the hardest?

All I know is, a country that’s hell bent on destroying itself because it hates nature, biology, physics, history, sociology, general education and facts in the name of freedom and equality might want to begin to rethink its position on a few things. I’m just sayin’.women fail picture[2]

  1. When it comes to Women in the Military, I can’t help but think of the Tuskegee Airmen. Pre WWII it was common to think “Blacks can’t fly planes”. Just as today “Women can’t be marines”. The Tuskegee Airmen where given outdated and dysfunctional equipment, given the worst assignments and shorted on supplies. These brave and talented men had hands down the best record of any squad in WWII on either side. This “experiment” quite very much killed the belief that blacks couldn’t fly with out putting any of the ‘real’, read white, pilots of the time at risk. We need to do the same thing with women in combat. Give one of these feminist soldiers complete autonomous control over an all female battalion, and see what happens. Let women succeed or fail on their own merits with out putting soldiers we already know to be affective at risk.

I’m not so bold as to assume that I can’t be wrong. Women may be superior soldiers to men. While I find the possibility laughable, I’m all for giving women the opportunity to fail.

As a Marine myself they are an unwanted and deadly distraction. Most women are unable to do the actual job of fighting in combat. As for the others men can still do them better with less personnel. Every time females were around us it brought problems such as them whoring themselves out for money, needing to bring in more showering facilities and a host of other sever problems that hurt out fighting ability. One thing you need is cohesiveness and that means doing everything as a team and yes that means showering and such. The US is to uptight to allow coed sleeping and showering facilities.

This experiment will cost lives. Until we enter an age of true equality such as was shown in starship troopers for example it will not work. Remember current feminist thinking do not want true equality anyways.

      • I agree with everything you said. We are on a downward spiral in the name of “equality.”

      • I fully appreciate that women in combat are a distraction. Gender segregated facilities (like showers) requires a great deal of resources. This is WHY my experiment would be a good one.

I’m not proposing women fighting along side men. My proposal is a fully separate everything. Make a women’s battalion, no men allowed, with their own camp, facilities, missions, resources and everything. Having a potentially very crappy group of soldiers with their own camp won’t make YOU any less safe. The only lives the experiment will cost are the women that volunteered for the experiment.
